190 for more than 25 years, we are in awe of your achievement... Hi! We, along with
family members who live in Terrace, B.C., were
in the Nisga Memorial Lava Park, B.C., June 17th, specifically to watch
your ralley drive through the park. We we very impressed by the friendliness
of all the participants & vintage cars. I have pictures of 4 cars - &
information off the internet about the ralley - that will always be in
our "Vacation 2000" scrapbook. Since my husband is a car lover, he was
most interested in viewing the cars. We feel fortunate to have seen you

Weltumbrauser! Durch Euch sind wir internet greenhorns erstmalig ins internet
gestolpert, brachten bisher aber keine Nachricht an Euch zustande. In
der Verzweiflung darüber, dass morgen das Gästebuch weg ist,
haben wir es heute - oh Wunder - geschafft. Eure Fahrt haben wir mit Spannung
verfolgt und uns besonders über Euer Familientreffen unterwegs gefreut.
Als Geographen hat uns so viel fasziniert, was Ihr jetzt erlebt habt.
Manches hat in uns Erinnerungen geweckt, zum Beispiel Kyrgyzstan (unser
jüngstes Arbeitegebiet) und nun zuletzt Eure Fahrt entlang der spanischen
Ostküste, der wir in umgekehrter Richtung vor 48 Jahren auf einer
abenteuerlichen Exkursion des Innsbrucker Geographischen Instituts folgten
und dabei immer deutlicher merkten, dass sich in unseren Herzen etwas
rührte. Nicht weit von Euch - in Vichy - kam auf der Heimfahrt bei
einer abendlichen - herrlich altmodischen - Aussprache der Stein ins Rollen...
- Wir haben schon Euren Plan bewundert und dann unterwegs die ganze Art,
in der Ihr das bewältigt habt mit Eurem Oldtimer, an Bord einen ewigen
Youngtimer. Gute Heimkehr, herzliche Glückwünsche und viele

4th of july!! i have to say, your web site is definitely addictive. i
feel as though i am getting my own trip around the world (with a lot less
of dirt and gravel though!). work here has been okay -- still a bit hectic.
i am planning on going on another mountain climbing expedition at the
end of this month. it's the tallest mountain in south east asia, but its
a very very easy climb. should be up and down in less than 5 days. hope
everything is fine with you and hope you manage to get some good rest

driving down our upper Midwest highways. I am a sales representative based
in Bismarck, North Dakota and travel the North and South Dakota territory.
I passed a few of your fellow racers or team-mates near Selby, South Dakota
on Wednesday the 28th. I wished now I would have taken the time to stop
at the gas station there to visit with some of you. There were three cars
stopped there I think. I got on the internet that same evening and found
your website. This is really quite interesting. I'm sure the days can
get long, but it must be awesome seeing the world from an automobile!!!
